Landscaping Program & Services
The REACH Landscaping Program provides reliable, community-centered property maintenance while creating meaningful employment opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. Our crews primarily focus on mowing, weed eating and pulling, raking leaves and pine needles, shoveling snow, building small patios, and laying rock and gravel. Each crew includes up to eight participants working alongside a trained job coach, giving individuals the chance to work in teams, learn new skills, and gain hands-on experience with a variety of landscaping tools and equipment.
To ensure safety and quality, REACH does not provide irrigation or sprinkler system work, concrete services, or tree trimming.
Participants enjoy being outdoors, engaging in creative problem solving, and taking pride in improving the spaces where our community lives and works. Through their efforts, properties become more attractive, accessible, and safe—while participants build confidence, independence, and a strong sense of accomplishment.
